The bottom of your feet is connected to the powerful and direct access points to the internal organs in your body. They are known as meridians in the Chinese medicine and they are also pathways to each organ within your body. Some experts argue that meridians don’t exist but those who understand Chinese medicine know that the meridian system is very closely correlated with the nervous system. So if you’re aware that you have nerves and a nervous system, you should also be aware that you have meridians, too.
The bottom of the foot has many different nerve endings (approximately 7,000 meridians) which can be linked directly to different organs. They act as very powerful electrical circuits in the body and are often dormant because we wear shoes and don’t get acupuncture done to help the meridians or nerves in any way.
